ACTION ALERT

An important message from the Nebraska Corn Growers Association

A group of ethanol companies has asked the Environmental Protection Agency to increase the ethanol blend rate cap from 10 percent to up to 15 percent in regular gasoline.

This will help get more ethanol into the marketplace, create demand for idle ethanol capacity and help us along our path to becoming more energy independent. Approval of the increase is good for the future of the ethanol industry - and since the industry is an important corn customer, it would be good for corn growers, too.

EPA wants public input on the request, but there is only a short timeframe to submit comments. Ethanol supporters need to act now! To make it easy to let your voice be heard, National Corn Growers Association has set up a special website.

Just follow the link below, enter your name and address and select which comments you'd like to make. That's it. You can also customize the letter with your own comments.
